I’m heading back home, home for 5 weeks today.
Placement starts on Tuesday (it’s exciting that we scored a public holiday for monday, but on a larger scale, first week of placement actually eats into our second week of mid-semester break)…yeah you work out how that one’s fair with the whole student body.
I’m looking forward to it…and the 2 RDO’s that come with it (love the idea that RT departments run on 9 day fortnights). It’s going to be truly eye opening. Thinking about it now makes me feel a little nervous, it’s going to be tough, grueling and insane. Not to mention I have to study for my finals at some point (guess that’s what my days off are for).
I’m in the middle of packing at the moment, trying to make sure I don’t forget anything. I will just have to come back if I do!!
Don’t quite know how I’m going to handle being around my family again. Even my little sister is going to be back from her uni out in the country today. She needed someone to re-dye her hair HOT PINK. Some event is coming up that she needs to look totally swank for. Yes…hot pink is swank y’all.
I’m looking forward to my road trip, MR G (my lizard) and I are gonna cruise to some sweet tunes.
